Ms. Anne Tendo is the current Head of Public Relations at Crownel Co. Ltd. She also serves

as a Policy Advisor on the team; leveraging her vast knowledge on Civil and Political rights,

as well as various areas of the law, to provide solutions to present day challenges.

Anne holds a bachelors degree in Law from Makerere University, a post graduate diploma in

Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, and a Certificate on Judicial Enforcement

of Human Rights from the Centre for Human Rights (University of Pretoria).

As an engaging trainer and passionate speaker, Anne emerged champion of the All Africa International Humanitarian Law Moot Competition (2015) while at Law School, and represented Uganda in the 2017 White & Case Phillip C. Jessup Moot Court Competitions in Washington D.C.

Her areas of interest are Civil and Political rights, International Humanitarian Law, Public International Law, International Criminal Law, Criminal Law, and Land law. She is equally a prolific writer and editor with extensive experience accumulated from her time at Solutions Africa Ltd., Baroque Publishers, Refugee Law Project and as an editor for Makerere Law Journal.

Anne is passionate about girl child education and empowerment and accordingly offers legal counsel to Bambino Life Foundation based in Kampala, Uganda. She also serves as a member of the advisory Committee of Network for Public Interest Lawyers-Uganda, where she provides consultancy and advisory services to the Secretariat.
